When artist Meg Brown Payson sent an email to our info box, our Vice President Jennifer Tankleff, jumped on the chance to work with her. The inquiry was for exhibition work that would translate her paintings to much larger textiles. Possibly a tapestry and/or a rug.
The initial images were stunning and we quickly went to work, starting with samples of various fabrics, then printing her artwork for color matching, to the final product for her new exhibition Chiasm: New Work by Meg Brown Payson in the McCoy Gallery at Merrimack College, North Andover Massachusetts.
Once again proving that art can be a collaborative effort – a theatrical solution in the making!
